Polka Dots

I’m in love with Spring weather.
This outfit is great for Spring with the touch of color from the pastel blazer and splashes of white.
On another note: it’s no secret that a majority of my denim comes from Express
but a girl can’t help it when it comes to something she loves.
There are tons of variety when it comes to their styles and the fit is great for my body type.
Just preaching now, as these might be in constant rotation, as well as so many others.

Pop of Color

Wishing this was the view from my office…
Aside from my dreaming, this outfit is a great transitional that can take you from the office to happy hour.
A quick switch of the basic pumps to colorful printed heels and you’re ready.

Case of the Mondays

Coffee is my best friend.

I need to quit taking flights home on Sunday nights and then going to work the next morning.
My birthday weekend in NYC ended in my flight getting delayed last night and I was not home until 2:00am. Then I had to be up for work a few hours later…back to reality I suppose.
Hopefully my outfit was loud enough to distract everyone from my tired eyes.

Plaid Celebration

Are you already throwing your papers in the air ready for the weekend?! I got lucky with a longer weekend this week because tomorrow is a big celebration, well for me anyway. Tomorrow is my birthday and I’m celebrating this year in the Big Apple-NYC! So this outfit has me ready for some pre-celebratory cocktails. Cheers to me…I mean the weekend!

I’m a sucker for prints, with Camo being one of my favorites. It can work for different styles: casual, edgy, chic! This jacket was such a great find and I scored it for a fab price.
The possibilities are endless with this cool piece, so it will be in constant rotation.

Hat Kind of Day

I love this hat.

It’s the perfect combination of chic and edgy.
Have you seen that car insurance commercial where the girl is in the store and screams while running to a red bag? She asks her insurance how much she saved so she could buy that bag?
Well, that was me in Zara when I saw this hat…
{minus me talking to my insurance company}.
I let out a small gasp and quickly ran over to it
as I realized it was the only one left.
Those are the best purchases, when your heart skips a beat and
you feel as if you need it in your life, or else it won’t be complete.

Cupcakes & Leopard Print

Okay, so you’re probably thinking well where are the cupcakes? Don’t worry they are coming.
But first, leopard print

Alright, so I actually don’t have any cupcakes for you, but I definitely had one for myself. Yes, that’s two cupcakes I’m holding, so I lied, I really had two cupcakes. This girl loves her some sweets, so when one of my best friends Sarah came down to visit me for the weekend, she had to check a place off her Man v. Food list. Therefore, we ended up at this “cupcake truck”- Hey Cupcake and of course I did not fight her on this one. So if you’re in Austin and need a good sweet, I highly recommend stopping for these treats.

Now back to the leopard print.

Texas weather tricks me everyday. I wake up thinking its going to be cold, so I wear a jacket and booties, then the sun comes shining through later in the day. Typical.
Luckily, this trench is light enough to wear for a sunny/breezy day.
